rio kez,s pup aged 5 months will race. lives in (luxury) kennel with gem next to nikki

gem aged 4 months will race lives in (luxury) kennel with rio

all walked regularly/pups and nikki more free running than older dogs

As much as I like to read about oldies and how they're doing, I'm sorry but I am not explaining myself to people who are making ill informed pre-judgments about us or our dogs.

Mizzzzz I have had a house full :p

I klost Fancy free last year she was at least 15 year old and then Roxanne who had a back injury five years beforeand the vets wanted me to have her put to sleep, i declined and nursed her back to health and I might add she enjoyed her last years and romped about like a pup in the fields, i then lost Tiny Toon which broke my heart i now have six whippets left ranging from the ages of 11 to 2 years old, all live in the house which has been adapted for the whippets ie loose carpets that can be cleaned.

Hi

We have 8 whippets they all live in the house and sleep where they want. I will put on "my" girlies as

Sal is adding hers

Tess (Maid for It) she was 14 yesterday

Charlie (Pretty Nifty) she was 10 in January

Susie (Pretty Mad) will be 9 in September

Zola (Maid for that) - was 7 in March (Eve's sister) and their mum is Tess.

Milli (Now Milli) will be 4 in September and is the only one of "mine" that races

I walk all 8 twice a day - every day, although Tess only has a little amble around the block with us before

going back home, the other 7 then go on their "proper" walk.

hi i have emailed sherry to say its not a good topic they will use it aganst us a some time to come regs steve

we have 8 whippets here, all live in the house & sleep in bed of a night (fitting 3 whippets and me in a single bed every night is hard work  )

3 of them are mine, the other 5 are mums (she's posting about them)

my 3 all race at the moment, i have:

Eve (Maid For This) who is 7 now, she is my 1st whippet and is extremely special to me, mum bred her litter from tess and we also have litter sister Zola. Eve still races and had a brilliant year last year, unfortunately she missed when we had her mated.

Lexi who is 5 at the end of september, i spent months begging for lexi  and we got her at 5 months old, lexi has been a dream to own ... apart from chewing mum's glasses & pens as a puppy .... and won me my 1st title at 19months old.

Zena (Xotic) is the baby of our family at 2 years old, she's still a bit mad and loves running round the field like an idiot. Zena has only been very lightly raced due to injury/racing eve on the bends.

as most people know mine are my babies and i spoil them :b no matter what they do/did on the track i still love them and wouldn't part with them for the world

just thought i'd add this photo of mum with all 8 of our girls

See where your coming from Carol, but agree with Jacs. Why should folk have to prove themselves to people.Take heart in knowing that your fellow non ped whippet owners are quite happy about who they are and how they are with their own dogs

all my dogs have spent all of their lives with me have had as many as 18 way back in the early 70's

at present I have 3 Izzy ( twisted sister) 22/23lb and litter sister Duffy ( push the button ) 27lb age 13 months both racing and if I may say so myself looking good, their mum Tillie ( little doll ) 5yrs and hopefully in pup again to North To South due 14th sept .

next part specially for bertha and meddling -_-

TILLE (bred from my own scratch bitch CHICANE who sadly died last year aged 12, Annie as she was known was also lightly raced and retired at 2 years old because she didn't like going in the traps ) x

2 BECOME ONE ( who also died last year ) was lightly raced due to reccurring injury so never really got to show her full potential, her litter sister POLLYSAURUS and brother LUDACRIS ( their achievments speak for themselves ) Kangaroo Jack also lightly raced lives a wonderfull life in Torquay, Eddie another brother spoilt rotten as a pet in the North East, sister Tilly 2 who also lives as head of the house in our next village and the little black boy that went to Eric Watson never made it to thr track as he sadly died in a tragic accident

So do I sherry but because of yesterday's spat there are now other people who are recorded as friends to yesterdays posters coming on causing upset. Along with this Lynchie is being the subject of abuse (and probably myself by now) elsewhere on this site. While a moderator is online AND the posts reported.

Furthermore other websites are being involved to abuse all non-ped racers and they're dogs, one being the whippet forum (according to a post on K9) and the rest on facebook of which I have been supplied with copies of all derogatory remarks.

above was in response to sherry before site crashed. :) Just to make you aware of what's going on.

Know exactly what you mean

Six for us Carole.

Two puppies under 10-12mths not racing yet

Two that will be Veterans in Feb 2010

One is 6 and a half (7 at New Years) she's having a break after her first season since her litter, will probably be lightly raced after that (nothing new there)

Save the best for last one is 8 in 3 weeks time, and will be retiring probably by the end of the year.

Umm, would just like to confirm there is nothing, and hasn't been anything, on TWF about this. If you do see anything that we (Admin and Mods) miss, please report it asap. I don't know who has said there is as not followed all the topics.
