Just so that people are not misled :- ", the Thames is the longest river in England as the Severn is the longest in England and Wales (in Britain, in fact). I know that probably sounds a bit picky but assuming Wales is in England is really annoying to the Welsh. :rant: Not blaming you at all Dawn, just me being ultra sensitive!! :b

Good quiz though but I can't answer any of them except that I think the first motorway was the M6 around Preston not the M1. :thumbsup:
