I may be being a bit thick here :b but how does the length of a cricket pitch (22yds) tie in with the length of an acre (220 yds or one furlong)? :blink: What was wrong with my answer that the name used for 22 yds is a chain? How does it tie-in with an earlier question re acre?
This was one 'interesting' fact that I didn't know I knew ie the length of a cricket pitch ties in with the size of an acre..
