I just have one question......................If everything went perfectly at opens what would people have to moan about?? Gets boring whinging about the cost of petrol and gas etc...................so the trap you got or who bumped who seems infinitely more interesting and lively :D

And at what time of the morning would the com get to see to there own dogs never mind  even have a cuppa Great theory be nice to see if it worked any volunteers , suppose the open draw would be no good as members would be out side getting there dogs ready

I would just like to add that the NNWRF has a brilliant committee we all pull our weight and if a job needs doing theres always one of us there to do it even the odd moan :- " ...Also over the past few years we have had some great support of john and jerry with the photo finish camera and Colin , Joe and Jeff on the traps and hazel as half way judge along with Jeff who worked on com for a couple of years

I did how ever notice at the Tyrone bends the lack of bwra working com the top table were left doing everything

Some of us work hard at clubs week in and week out sometimes Saturdays and Sundays and run our own opens too - so in fact when attending other opens it is nice sometimes to run your dogs and not do the work.  That does not mean that we do not appreciate the people who are doing the work and would not help if we were asked to and by attending we are supporting them, and by running clubs we are keeping the sport going without clubs eventually we wont have anywhere to train our open class dogs. As for ideas i'm sure they are just that not meant as a downer on people who are doing the work.  My personal opinion is if someone suggests something or gives advise you have two options either take it or leave it, your choice ;)
Karen (for steve as he never knows who it is on our addy  ~)

Couldn't agree more

if things go to plan now the NNWRF has its own laptop and providing we can pick up on a signal results will be going on line as they happen we have been able to do this before at Highgate when weve borrowed Gary's computer so hopefully if there are enough spare hands we can now do it at all our opens there's a job you can help out doing between you

Always room for improvement i'd say in any organisation / company, probably why i'm so unpopular with our foreman as he's still trying to work in the good old days when we were a small outfit and there were no such things as computers.

Are you sure it's not just that he's a man Vicky :- " .

We all know what most men are like for change, unless you catch them just right, then they'll do anything (w00t) .

Will always help out when needed Dee. Same goes for Fed if you are short handed.

nothing wrong with the old days, without computers at the champs they had 2 tracks running dogs on one and bitches on the other and twice as many dogs all run on one day.johng says he was dizzy watching.

nothing wrong with improvement as long as they are sensible, and workable.

Sometimes the only way you can find out if your current methods are effective is by trying new things and developing.
