Just come back in from my morning walk...feeling a tad stressed out to say the least.. !!!!!

Lads were happily running around, chasing each other in our local playing field when out of the blue comes this dark Saluki/cross like a bullet

I wasnt unduly concerned, because I could see she was a bitch :sweating:

 

Anyway the boys all shot off like bullets after her totally ignoring my calls for some strange reason.....!!!!!!!

 

Then this burly guy appeared with a staffy on a lead...shouting and balling of the dog...she didnt take the slightest bit notice of him.....

 

He then starts shouting..... SHES IN HEAT.....AND THE STAFFY WILL HAVE A GO HES PROTECTING HER (w00t) (w00t)

 

 

I then managed to get Oscar Kobi and Archie gathered up...just about up her bum (sorry)....... :blink: :wacko: and the staffy snapping on its lead....argggggggggggg

 

I really wanted to say something, but he was a big guy and the way Ive been feeling I just felt panicky to say the least. Its beggars belief that someone would just

let their bitch in season run round like that......I wasnt the only one there...and there were other dogs too....... :rant:

Im just gobsmacked !!!!! :unsure:

First thought, thank God the staffy was leashed. :sweating: Poor girl will inevitably end up pregnant, if not this time, then the next or the one after that etc etc. No wonder the pounds and rescues are bulging.

Having just had my 13 year old whippet attacked by a greyhound who was only "playing " . Luckily she had a big thick coat on which protected her . The owner then proceeded to call me some names I have never been called before for having the nerve to complain . :angry:

Luckily you were able to get your three boys back but others may not have had that much control, and thank goodness the Staffie was on a lead!

Honestly how stupid, you wonder how some people manage to walk and breathe at the same time (w00t)

I had someone absolutely scream at me once after her (in season) dobe bitch came over and started bouncing all over my dogs. She had the ******* nerve to tell me that her dog was a "top pedigree" and if any of my mongrels had got to her "there would be trouble" - despite the fact that my dogs were all under control and close to me and her bitch had run across two fields to get to us :rant:

I could have reassured her that both my boys were neutered......... but I didn't feel like it somehow :-

I am learning not to be so shocked when i hear these stories......i was out this morning when a very bouncy springer came bombing up to Gypsy who was on the lead, it was jumping all over her...i asked the owner to remove her dog from on top of mine and her reply..."oh shes only playing"...it really narks me when people say this.....gypsy is not at all happy with other dogs in her face when she is on the lead !!!!!

Gypsy got quite cross at the springer and told her off very loudly...................the woman then said "oh your greyhound is very miserable isnt he"

FFS...he is a she and shes a whippet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think maybe she heard what i called her (w00t)
