Now, my OH accuses me of indulging my boy Jambo (yes really ;) ) and he thinks it is simply outrageous that I put his blanket in the tumble dryer to make it nice and warm as he LOVES to be wrapped up in it when it is cold. I said that I think this is quite normal behaviour but he says that nobody would induldge their doggies in such a way...... please prove him wrong and say that you also do this or how you indulge them?

He loves it

Well I won't lie. I took some freshly washed bedding out of the dryer the other day and wrapped Ruso up all snuggly as he was looking a bit chilly. It was a fair old while before his head emerged 8)

TCx

I have always gave Archey a FULL Sunday Dinner when we have one or if Im making something like Spag' Bol' I'll always give him a bowl full too. Even taking the time to pick out the Onions. And if Lottis stomach ever settles down she'll get it too.

Iv tried the cover thing but he didnt really take to it. I think Lotti would though.

We all do it but some of us are sneaky and don't let on to our un-feeling, hard hearted husbands. I did exactly the same thing last week with a blanket in the tumble dryer and when OH caught me, I just lied and said it was wet. When I go out the fire is always left on, as is the music and lights if it's going to get dark before I get back. Also, found daughter had brought down a pillow off her bed for one of ours 'because the cushions aren't big enough or comfortable enough' What can I say, it's just the home comforts we all deserve. Oh, nearly forgot, because I can't find a doggy duvet comfortable or thick enough for Gracie's crate, I am just about to cut up one of my daughter's.

My girls are dogs and are treated as such................

I suppose it's perfectly normal to get up in the wee small hours of the morning because one of mine is gently whining to let me know that they need to go out .......... only to find myself standing downstairs alone

Whippet Explanation ....

"Simples - pretend we need to go out to get mummy out of bed and then, once she is safely downstairs, we can all snuggle into a lovely warm, recently vacated bed and resume sleeping!!!!"

Guess who spends the rest of the night on the sofa? :b

Worth remembering too  ..............

It was a chilly evening in Cornwall this evening and the children had swim training.... they werent too happy at being dragged out in the cold and wet, but we did leave behind a pile of whippies, (yes, the stove had been lit specially!) laid out on their special fluffy rug complete with the TV on and a few tripe strips, LOL!!

Oh, and we all have Sunday dinner in our house, too :p

Worth remembering too  ..............

That is so true.

My boys are lucky enough to have two double goose down quilts in their crates!
