Lovely, thanks Dan!
See you next Sunday then

Right, now I'm worried! Is is next Sunday (12th) or following one (19th) Sorry :b

Have been directed to the racing schedule by a lovely helpful member, so panic over

If the weather is bad or the ground is to hard in the summer months its always best to check its still on, i can PM you with a contact number.

A contact number would be great Dan, if you can PM me.

Thanks

Tracy

God I'm so embarrassed :b I have completely messed up :b I am entered in a show on the 19th, and on top of that I have already agreed to handle someone else's dog so wouldn't let them down.

Please can you forgive me and I will definitely come to one of the March meetings (not sure if I can make the 5th I need to check the calendar at home)

I am really sorry and also gutted as was so looking forward to coming, so stupid double booking myself :( Still it's not long until the next meetings so I will see you then if you'll have me

Tracy

Dont worry yourself, just come along when you can make it, we always welcome new people when ever they come. :D

Do you promise? In that case we might pop along, probably not this weekend as we're going away. Maybe see you all in a couple of weeks? I'll bring a thermos Tracey, my memory is that can be quite chilly up there in March!

Hi Elizabeth,

Glad you might come along too, it will be nice to see you again. Don't worry, I will be bringing a thermos too, I think that we'll need it :- " (w00t) I was even wondering about bringing a dictaphone so I can try and tape as much info as poss (my brain isn't what it used to be at absorbing rules and regs etc :b ) Sad I know, but much easier than a pad and pencil. OH said "no one will tell you anything, they'll think that your some kind of nutter" so I've gone off this idea (w00t)

Just to say, that I have been taking Zephyr to Oxford for trialling when I can, and they are very friendly and welcoming, and answer lots of my stupid questions with great patience!

Went along yesterday, and Zephyr took part in his first race. :)) He is really loving it, and they went very gently with him to get him used to things one bit at a time - ie chasing the lure, going through the traps, wearing a muzzle (which he has never done before) and finally running with other dogs. :sweating: He was on his hind legs barking like mad with the excitement of it. (w00t) Thanks to Kim, and Dan for trapping him for me.

Naturally I forgot my camera, but here's a pic of him later on at home, dressed in his gear! :huggles:

BTW, there may not be refreshments, but there is a loo AND a chocolate machine - what more could anyone want? :* :- "
