Today saw the return leg of the inter-club between the Lancashire (on home turf) and the Heart Of England.

i've been asked by all our members to say a big thank you to everyone from the Heart Of England for joining us today for a great days sport run in an atmoshpere that was how whippet racing should be run, a good fun day with great company and seeing the dogs do what they love to do, also a big thank you to the H.O.E members for the kind donnation towards the cost of the cattering.

on a personal note i'd like to thank all the Lancashires members for the way in which the pulled together today to make the day run so smooth and i'm realy proud to be the secretary of such a club.

it was also nice to welcome Lampingman and his guest Lamping man even agreed to enter a dog (Henrieta) to run for the Lancashire Thanks Lampy.

A big thank you to Lampingman for agreeing to present the rossetts to all the winning owners.

What a fantanstic day, this is whippet racing at its best

I would just like to thank the Hart of England for travelling up to us, to make this possible, but not for kicking are asses Hope you all had a good day and a safe drive home.

Lamping man good to see you again don't drink too much of your raffle win on your holidays see you next year for a rematch :cheers:
