Paula and I joined this forum for another prospective on whippets -

we live on 10 acres in the country in Oklahoma USA which is about

halfway to everywhere in the US - We have had Wildhare Whippets now

for about 10 years but have had other breeds and a whippet since the

early 70's - we are active in Confirmation showing - a little coursing - and

some racing when schedules permit - we have had a self imposed limit

of 5 whippets in our household for several years so this year we now have

6 because we decided to keep two pups from our last litter - I will attempt

to attach some pictures (never have had any luck doing this on this forum)

of our pack and some activities that we enjoy with the dogs -

we have a website - www.wildharewhippets.com if anyone would like to visit -

another of our whippets - the first one is AMCH Wheatland Delta Dawn JC -

this one is Cajen Fillette - our old lady who is 10 now

What lovely whippets. Welcome to K9, Dwight and Paula :)

Hi, nice to see you here. Funny how you set a limit then go over it. My OH set a limit of ONE Whippet. We now have FOUR and I heard him tell my friend that he really didn't mind how many " within reason". Hmmmm, how many might that be. <G>.

Hello and welcome to K9 from another newbie (w00t)

I am an American (from Minnesota) who now lives in the UK.

This is a great forum and everyone here has been very friendly and inviting.

You have very gorgeous dogs

I tried to post some more of our 4 legged friends but a msg told me that

I had gone over my allotment and to do something but that msg dissappeared

so couldnt do anything about it at the time - somewhere down below it says

"global space left unlimited space" - dont have a clue what that means - also

dont know what "open tags" mean yet - going to try to post a picture of

Drama's daughter - Wildhare Here For The Party - aka Party - our group

winning puppy - guess not - another msg saying I did a no no again -

maybe I can post a coupla pictures of the two pups we kept from Delta's

litter now 15 weeks old

and since we had no rain from july last year thru march this year we had a lot

of wildfires around here real close so this one is named "Wildhare Circle of Fire"

aka "Flame"

You may have posted the picture a little on the large side for starters. Then it will not allow you to upload. Make the picture smaller before posting - this should help.

or it may be that youve tried to add to many pictures to one post.

Hi - and welcome to K9

Lovely pics.... keep em coming

Jodster

your whippets look very leggy!

yes, it is hard to stick to limits when there are so many gorgeous dogs about and if you are breeding you want to see how the pups turn out

I only have two and I find they take up a lot of time

Hi Dwight - glad to see you here :D

Re the above and space you can use a maximum of 75kb per post. There's no limit (like there is with WW) on what you can use overall, but the number of files in each post is limited by size, so you can have 3 25kb photos or 1 75 kb photo or any combination up to a max of 75.

Hope that helps. You're doing a great job so far!
