Hi all,

We would like to introduce you all to Rosie. She is a 10 week old little  . We collected her on Saturday from her breeder (Patelypride) and she has settled in really well. She is the sweetest thing ever and if she's not playing with the other 3 dogs :clown: and having communal zoomies (w00t) then she's zonked out on the sofa -_- (the no sofa rule which my husband set was gotten around within an hour of her coming home :b ) or snuggled in a ball with our 8 month Weimaraner :huggles: .

She only had her first set of injections on Tuesday so it'll be another month till she goes out on her first proper walk but we did take her out today (she was carried the whole time and the others walked) in order to get her used to daily sights and sounds, she took them all in her stride :- " .

We do need to do her worming but we feel (and I know other new owners have commented on similar) that she is a little on the skinny side - she was the smallest of the litter and may of not got as much food, so are thinking of worming her this weekend when she's had a week of extra meals (4 small meals a day at the mo).

The only other issue that we have with her at present is that on every car journey so far she's been sick :x . We know that this is because it's not a natural thing for a dog and so are doing limited short journeys to get her a bit more used to it.

So we now have 4 dogs; a 12 year old mini schnauzer, a 20 month giant schnauzer, a 8 month weimaraner and our new addition, oh what fun we're going to have  .

Pictures to follow (we have plenty of them)

Congratulations on having your new whippet puppy  and Welcome to K9, look forward to your pictures. :)

Rosie is lovely and what a beautiful doggy family you have :huggles:

Rosie is going to be a real beauty. She looks to have settled in nicely with her companions!

Oooh, she's lovely

I love the pic where everyone is in a nice line, and then the whippet is upside down and rolling round, typical  (w00t) :- "

What lovely pictures, well worth waiting for - lovely dogs  and your pup is scrumptious. o:)

Is that a shnauzer I can see, Nicola on here has one, shes always looking to meet new ones.

welcome to K9, your gang look lovely

Rosie and the rest of the gang are gorgeous

Aha..photos....I love the gang  .

Isn't it funny how short haired dogs prefer lying next to other short haired dogs. My Fred doesn't like lying next to Stan at all. You can see him frown if they come into contact when lying down...I think he finds Stanley a bit smelly and tickly.

It does make a chnange to see a miniature schnauzer on here Janis :D . They are more popular these days, and one sees more of them around now, but they're quite rare on K9 for some strange reason :- "

they are lovely, my siser has a mini shnauzer called reggie, hes spoilt rotten, but a lovely little lad, hes her baby boy not her dog :D

What a lovely collection of dogs 8)

My wife would love a Weimaraner but we don't have the space :(

 She's a little darling  Welcome to the gang as well

My OH'S Dad has a mini and a giant Schnauzer too. Fossie the miniature seemed quite taken with Holly when we visited at Christmas but the Giant Pacha didn't like her at all - the feeling was mutual though! :- "
