Hello,

I heard about this forum from lizzb (forum member), whom we are getting our second Whippet. My wife and I currently have a 5 months old Blue & White trimmed bitch, and are excited about getting a second bitch. Samantha is currently a pet but we might try to do a little showing or coursing, still she's a pet first...

I'm looking forward to sharing info and meeting others interested in whippets.. Also, we feed sammy on a raw diet, and would especially welcome any discussion on that topic..

We are located in Cornwall and would be interested in whippet or dog related events in the area. I would have uploaded some photos but I kept getting attachments or post size exceeds global limit??? I'm going to try to create and album...

Get in touch with LINDA and KIETH PALMER,who run the Cornish Lurcher show. They should be able to sort you out with any imformation you need as regards WHIPPETS or their type.I will give you their number ,if they gave me permission to do so.Another very useful contact ,and one of the main men,in the Whippet game,is Gary Farmer,or Geoff Fletcher, who goes under the name" Milly",on here.Hope these names are of use to you. ...Billyboy45.... As regards food.I myself believe the old way to be the best, although time consuming, and well worth it.In saying that ,i would prefere to boil most of the meat i feed,as i make a lot of home made broth, for the dogs, mainly chicken n beef.If i use nuts at time's ,i prefere BETA,especialy for pups. ...Billy...

Hi and welcome to K9.

Your photos need to be no more than 75 kb to upload from your pc to K9. Think you must be exceeding this limit.

.photobucket

You could resize the pics on your pc or upload to an online gallery such as photobucket where they will be resized and put them onto K9 from there.

If you have several pics to post, upload to photobucket and put a tick in the box of each photo you want to send and then hit generate which is at the bottom of the photobucket page, from there just highlight your pics in the generated list and copy, go back to your post in K9 and paste. The photos will then appear in your post, if I've told you correctly. :D
