It's finally here - yippeeeee!!!!!! Carrie and I are setting out in about an hour and we'll be bringing Alfie home with us tomorrow

If anyone is on the M6 today and sees a wee Fiat Panda heading south with a 17 year old and a ... well, not 17 year old ... grinning like numptys then that will probably be us!!!

Jo and I are so looking forward to meeting Carrie and Jill tomorrow. After waiting for so long for her boy (before he was even born) I just can not wait to see their reaction when they see how gorgeous their little Alfie is!

I am just back home from Jo's after seeing Alfie off with Jill and Carrie.

I think it will be about 5pm before he hits his new home but he went off very happily and Jo and I couldn't be more happy with his wonderful new home - he is going to be absolutely adored by Jill and her family.

Looking forward to seeing him with Uncle Blue soon!

They've all left now, apart from Emmy (formerly Micah), who will be joining her Cousin Connie at the end of the month. She's staying a few extra weeks as her new family are on holiday during half term. Oh, and of course we've still got Rowan who is staying forever.

It seems very quiet now.

It was lovely to meet Jill and Carrie, as Rachel said, Alfie couldn't be going to a nicer family. I look forward to seeing him settling into his new home.

Hi Jill, I hope your journey home is uneventful and Alfie settles in well. I saw him yesterday when we collected Gracie and he really is lovely. Gracie's first night went really well and my two girlies have been so nice with her. Predictably, we are besotted with her and find ourselves just gazing at this sleeping puppy. There wont be any work done and eldest daughter starts AS's this week! When I've downloaded software for new camera will post some pics. Good Luck!
