It's a cold rainy day today indicating that winter has finally arrived here in the deep south! The fire is lit and the whippets have made themselves comfortable as best they can. Poor thing :D

bless them, snuggling up to keep warm, with their sheep skin to lay on.

it was very cold in yorkshire too,and we had the wood burning stove going, and also the gas fire in the front room.

when the fires are not needed to be on,my brood get in between their quilt for comfort and warmth.

there so badly done to poor things.

Laying a sheepskin on the ground is guaranteed to attract at least one whippet. I liken it to have the same attraction as moths to a flame :)

They are a tough crew, really. Just before that photo was taken, I took them out into the weather to stretch their legs and they had great fun but were pleased to be back inside to be towelled dried.

Only ancient Flo (13 years young) wears a coat. She has her own Swandri coat with a polar fleece lining. She's a lucky girl!

:huggles: Awwww lovely :huggles: It was raining ALL day here too the whips didn't move all day off the sofa except to go to the loo and even then I had to practically throw them out, well it was very wet and they might have melted (w00t) :teehee:

Well, it is a scientific fact ... whippets do dissolve in rainwater

What a lovely picture! :) We too used to have some sheepskin, they ended up as a fluff all over our garden :D

My whippets realise the benefits of sheepskin so they respect it. Now, rabbit fur, well that's a different story! :D

My 2 curl up like that when its cold and wet...I think its lovely to see them all squashed up together
