Last week I dashed into Morrisons for a few bits of shopping & on the way out got waylaid by a market research lady & entered a free prize draw. The prizes were professional photos of you & your family. She did give me a bit of a funny look when she asked who I would bring to the photo shoot if I won & I said "My 3 dogs"

Anyway this morning a voucher arrived for £120 for a free photo session worth £60 & also a free photo worth another £60.

So now all I've got to do is get all 3 of them looking cute & staying still all at the same time long enough for someone to take a pic

Then I've got to try & resist buying loads more lovely prints of the dogs.

My FREE prize may turn out to be quite an expensive one :- "

Well done & Good luck!

Took our Springer a few years ago to have some pic's taken with one of the girls to a fancy photo studio, the bloody thing was scared to death by the woman pointing all sorts at her and insisted in peeing everywhere :b Got some nice shots though :- "

Make sure you show us the finished pic's

ooooooh well done julie, show us the pics when theyre done :D

lol!take the cheque book and credit cards :- "

i can see a wall full (w00t) of this one free photo

I bet it's Venture photography isn't it ? (w00t)

did this last year, took our whippet with us, it's in an all white room, you bounce balls and throw treats for the dogs, lie on the floor, push up against each other for an hour, then a few days later you come back , sit in a comfy armchair and whilst soft music plays you see all your photos projected on the wall :- "

We had some good ones of daughter and pet in silhoute, B+W etc, I was determined not to spend a fortune , none of them were (IMO) worth a lot of money to me, I let Sophie choose which one (it wasn't my first choice) it looked fuzzy on the wall and the staff said it wouldn't be when it's printed.....oh yes it was :(

You'll have an hour of good fun and hopefully get a nice pic from it, but send off your favourite photo to next.co.uk/art and they'll print it on canvas, or frame it or make it B+W for a fraction of the cost.

Are you sitting down ?....... with Venture................................. a large frameless print about 90 cm square costs £950  (w00t)

an album of multiple pics is about £1,000.

Have fun all the same

It's a company called "Era" based in Wilmslow. The set up sounds the same though & thanks for the tip about cheaper otions for framing etc

In the brochure they say their prices range from the "affordable" £60 one to the "exquisite" at £1995 (w00t)

I may as well go along though, it's a trip out to leafy Wilmslow

we went to venture last year and although it was good fun and pics were amazing we got 2 pics 7"x 5" in plain black frame first was free as it was in the offer price to get you in the door, the second was £95 (w00t) (w00t)

we took the to a printers to get blowen up and its impossible as they are printed on a bumpy surface so when there blowen up the white background becomes grey speceled and the hole pic gets a fussyness.

best place to go is pixifoto dont know if they allow pets or animals but they work it by sheets and 20sheets for £200 that worked out for us a

20"x30" x1

20"x10" x3

12"x10" x4

10"x8" x3

well worth the money
