First I'd like to say THANK YOU To Leslie and Mark, with the kind help of Jacquie and Jim and all who took part, for a great racing event. Weather was great, and so was the Tombola and raffle.

A BIG WELL DONE TO THE FOLLOWING DOGS, who ran their socks off all day (w00t) :thumbsup: NE 17 ; 1st Summa Breeze, :wub: 2nd Uptown Girl :wub: Baby love winning the cons Final :wub: first ever open race (w00t) :thumbsup: NE 19. Gambler Girl :huggles: winning the cons final. NE 21, Deadly Spirit :wub: getting to cons final, his first ever open race (w00t) :thumbsup: and last but no means least Magical Mayhem 3rd in main final :cheers: and also all dogs who took part and got to finals :cheers: . Looking forward to the Champs and seeing everyone again.

Well........finally back with the living :sweating: .went to bed at 6p.m monday and got for work next morn ( still knackered).

Sooo many thank you's to say ,firstly to ALL of us whom without the support this day would not be.Secondly to who ever sorted the weather,the sun surely shone on us all o .Sue and Steve Evans for the fantastic Tombola :cheers: ,and Judy Booker who took the whole of the judging into her very capable hands and sorted it all for us :cheers: Jacquie Mullin for the help to stay sane in the P.A ( not an easy task)and keep the day 'flowing'. the trap men :cheers: the 'food' men (lovely chaps) who remarked what great people us whippeteers are (try us at the end of the year) :- " .

I never realised what hard work organising an event was,but may I say I loved doing it and i'm ready for next year .

Lastly as I know people want to know what dosh we raised,after a count I'm real chuffed to reveal that over £2000 was raised for Whippet Rescue, the proper total amount will be officially anounced in the Whippet News.

Thanks Jane, yes, we are very pleased with him ,it was the first time he has reached an open final,and with quarters as well (w00t) (w00t) .
