Managed to get some action shots of some of the gang jumping over the barrier down on the racecourse . Of course the first day I tried it my batteries ran out !! (w00t)

Heres Harvee

Montees only happy when he has his squeaky toy in his mouth 8) He runs and runs just for the love of it .

There's nothing I love more than seeing my gang enjoying them selves and to me puts dog shows into perspective

You certainly wouldnt want to be on a horse jumping like Mikkee does , now would you (w00t) India is ready to bounce on her when she lands

Brilliant pics!

Where I walk the river bank has been eroded where the cattle drink and with all the flood water coming over it has now turned into a raging torrent, cascading over in two overspills that have to be either forded or jumped.

The oldies tend to wade through but the young and fit will jump after measuring it up and take it in two stages but Rupert just pings over it like a gazelle in a double bounce, it is amazing to watch but I just never seem to have my camera and it would be too slow to capture him doing it anyway!!!

Mikkee certainly lacks the elegance of the others doesn't she?! Bless her!

I love to see whippets jumping like that...... they are like gazelles... :)

Brilliant pictures.

Ive often mentioned about Libbee chasing crows , and Ive managed to get a picture of her doing just that . plus a pic of her racing towards me ,

Libbee doing what all whippets love to do ............running free . My heart goes out to Debs and Nigel with the loss of Izzy :( but she was doing what she loved best

Are'nt the crows funny...they always just fly out of reach!!!! Canny old things.

Great pictures Jax :D I wish mine would jump like that - mine are far too lazy, mind you if there was something to chase on the other side it may be different!!

Mine used to chase crows, but gave up when they keep flying off - I guess thats quite bright really

I agree that despite the extreme sadness about Izzy, running free is the way to go.

I think Mikkee needs to do some grid work, like we do with the horses, to teach her how to bascule over her fences!!!!!! Lovely pictures. What a wonderful place to be able to run the dogs. Lucky you.

Debbie

Yes,Izzy was doing what she loved best,&i wouldn't have had it any other way!it was just a freak accident, tragic though it was :(

If you own a running dog, that's what they need to do.

I can't imagine how my lot would cope if they were always kept on a lead,& imo it would be mental cruelty to do so :(

Just look at those happy faces on my signature photo :)
