I just thought I'd give a quick update to everyone who has cared so much for Sienna :huggles:

The progress is slow but steady she is happy in herself but her right side still lets her down mainly at the front, the trouble she has is bending the leg to walk she can hold her weight on it rigid but the nerves aren't telling her to move it forward, the physio is hopeful though and she does wave it around when she's scrabbling around, she can stand up by herself :) but when she tries to move she would fall over without support :(

She has come a long way since the accident and she's tries her best but things are at a bit of a plato at the moment its just a matter of time I think, I think it will be a long time yet too, she goes for her main follow up check up with the orthpedic surgeon next monday so he might be able to tell us whats going on with her at this stage

We are still doing the physio but feeling a bit helpless that we can't do more to make her better :(

Thankyou again to everyone for your ongoing concern and support, the financial help has been really appreciated too,its been a difficult time and it has really helped to have the support and kindess of you all with us through it all :huggles: :huggles:

glad sienna's making some progress :huggles:

It must be so hard watching her struggle. Lets hope the orthopaedic surgeon has some good news and can recommend something more to help her. :luck:

We are thinking of Sienna and all of you, keep up the good work. :huggles:

:huggles: Slow progress, but it is still progress - must be tough for you though - hang on in there :huggles:

Pleased you are seeing continued progress. Hopefully some good news next week. :luck:

:) Glad Sienna is recovering, even if slowly, keep uo the good work that you have done

so far  and stay strong for her. :huggles:

Hope she continues to improve and that the surgeon has some advice on helping her further. ;)

:luck: and :huggles: for Sienna.

Sonia and Jesse xx

:huggles: :huggles: You are doing a fantastic job Lesley, I know every day seems like a week but she is getting there  Lots of luck with the check up - lets hope they can tell you some positive news :luck: me n Ozzy are with you all the way. Keep your chin up

Tina

At least she's heading in the right direction - it must seem like an eternity to you - she's always in my thoughts and prayers - so are you - :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

Time is the greatest healer and Sienna is young and a fighter with it

It seems like ages to us, and especially to you, Lesley, but in reality it's only a short while and she's come so far in that space of time :D

Chin up! You're working minor miracles every day :sorcerer: and good luck with her next specialist visit :luck: :luck: :huggles:

Lesley if it wasn't for your dedication she wouldn't be as far forward as she is! :huggles: :huggles: You've been the best mum. I expect that she is still progressing but so slowly now that you can't see it. Hopefully in a week or two you'll look back and realise that she was improving all the time. :huggles:

She's come so far since this nightmare started :huggles:

So glad Sienna is still continuing to improve, even if it is slow progress she has come such a long way since her accident :huggles:

You are doing a great job with her Lesley and you should be very proud of your self :huggles:

Good luck for Monday with the surgeon, hope there is more good news :luck:  :luck:

sending lots of :luck: :luck: for the surgeon,

:huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

So good to hear there is gradual progress Lesley...what a great family you are... :huggles:

Im still praying for the day she is back to her normal self again asap... :luck: :huggles:

I've seen what hard work it is now, she is so lucky to have such a dedicated family. Sienna is trying so hard, she seems determined to get better and with the help of her family I'm sure she'll get there. She's still the same Sienna, I was sooooo pleased when she lept over to our gate (aided by Andrew) and growled at my lot :D :huggles: to keep them in their place.
