I came back from my walk today to find a beautiful moth fluttering in my kitchen window so i decided to save it's struggle and put it out side, :)) Picked it up and dropped it out the window only to find it fell in a spiders web  the spider soon wrapped it up in a little parcel ready for tea. Now the question is did i kill the moth ? :( or did i save the spider? I would love to hear your answers or similar incidents. Di

well as far as i am concerned no moth is beautiful they make me shudder just thinking about them :x

so as far as i am concerned you have saved the spider and saved me from having to hide under the duvet when it flies through my bedroom window  (Not that i live anywhere near you but you never know where the little critter would have ended up  )

No  but i did say the night before, Geoff Fletcher's might be down tomorrow and you should of seen the size of them bloody moths beating their way to my window last night, (w00t) (I've heard you got a big following :- but bloody hell Geoff i didn't know it was that big.))  :teehee: :teehee: di

I once saved a huge moth from the cats glare ....well i thought i was by letting it out of the house... as i released it a flaming sparrow swooped down and caught it  now i say i killed it by letting it go in day light o:)

PMSL I no what you mean, when Skippy & Trent were only pups about 12months old, :- i was walking my usual lane when in the side of the road was a beautiful little baby bunny, (we all no where this ones going) :( I managed to pick it up because i knew it would only get run over and i was going to take it home so Steve could photograph it, bloody Skippy jumped the height of me with my arm stretched up, and chomp, that was the end of the bunny, :( and nearly my fingers  so i know you don't always do the right things in life and sometimes it better to leave well alone. ;) di
