This is one of my favourite poems

Tomorrow

When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not there to see

If the sun should rise and find your eyes all fixed with tears for me

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today

While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.

I know how much you love me as much as I love you

And each time that you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too,

But when tomorrow starts without me please try to understand

That an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand.

She said my place was ready in Heaven far above

And that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly loved

But when I walked through Heaven’s gates I felt so much at home

When God looked down and smiled at me from his great golden throne

He said ‘this is Eternity and all I’ve promised you

Today for life on earth is past but here it starts anew’

‘I promise no tomorrow for today will always last

And since each day’s the same there’s no longing for the past’.

So when tomorrow starts without me don’t think we’re far apart

For every time you think of me I’m right here in your heart.

i think it would be great idea, i had to have my mare pu down on wed nd still in bits over it, but rewading the merlin thread has made me see im not alone, please could we have a memories sect? heres zola the day she was put down due to advanced cancer of anus vulva spine and jaw, love you zola x

thank you , im in tears but will put this under the pic of her going on the wall x thank you all , its hard making the decision for an old friend but one we do because we love them so much, we dont want to see the pain or hurt behind their wag or neigh etc so we do the hardest thing for us but the right thing for them .

R I P all the animals we have lost and lost , :huggles: til we meet again x

Sorry for your sad losses on here Tanya and Liz too

I would love a memorial site on K9 :thumbsup: I have my chip on a lovely site called Pets2rest.co.uk in the Book of Remembrance -(Dogs 2003-2004) I think its a lovely idea.

Maybe someting like this please.
