After I posted a few photos on Lurcher Discussion of our New Years Day walk around the Longdendale Trail a few of us have decided it would be good to meet up one day for a mass K9 walk. There was one arranged last year near Bristol which sounded good. I'm sure us Northerners can manage one too!! It will probably be one weekend between now & Easter.

We will try to sort out a date suitable for most so if anyone can't make a certain day let us know & we'll try to avoid it.

Julie.

Yip i'm up for that, providing i'm not racing when you have it :D

I'm in as you know...as long as it isn't the Crufts weekend... :teehee: Well done for getting this started.

I'll try and make one in with my two

Judging by the pics the area looks beautiful :)

Sounds good to me, not too far from me and somewhere we havent been, perfect.

Which pub do we meet at (w00t)

Hey thats not far from me also. I'll see if I can persuade the OH to drive us. Firemansam will you be taking both Violet and Tipsy? Ooooh it'll be like a family reunion!!! I wonder if you'll have a little bluey with you as well???? :D

And I've just seen that Saraquele may be going too so Lenny could meet his sister too :D

And Saraquele also has Muffin's half brother, Kobi, (dad is Cobyco Center Stage) so they will be able to meet. :huggles: Muffin's mum, brother & sister live in the village near me as well but don't belong to K9 as their owner is not very computer literate, :- " but I will see if they'd like to come - it does mean 3 more whippets taking part and it might even persuade her to get to grips with her computer and join K9!

Just to help JT out I think the following weekend dates are possible (having read through the posts again):

28/29 Jan

11/12 Feb

25/26 Feb (is this a half term weekend..not sure)

4/5 Mar

18/19 Mar

How about we pick a date from these? Do people prefer a Sat or Sun?

Jezza there more chance of you turning up with a pushchair on the walk than me keeping another puppy.

Violet and Tipsy will be there, I might even spoit the wife and let her have a run out (w00t)

25/26 is the end of half term in Derbyshire but it might be different in other counties - Norfolk for instance has half term the week before. I can't do 25 Feb because we are away, 26th I could at a push - other dates are fine. Would prefer a Saturday but could probably make a Sunday if that's what other people are happier with.

Sundays are good for me and Vicky as we go puppy training on saturdays, we might be able to get a few of our club members to tag along too. :)

29 Jan

12 Feb

are good for me, if thats any use
