He looks a super chap ,    but what are you going to do wih him when the `girls ` come into season ? It can be a pain , luckily Fleur and Buffee came in together a couple of months ago  (w00t) and now Mikkee is in season     I could do with Libbee coming in now and then we will have a break till India comes in , Poor Harvee is at present besotted with Mikkee    Montee has learned to `cope ` with girls  ;)

He's going to stay at dawns mum and dads with 50p  she told me they wouldn't mind and I have witnesses :- "

Hopefully callie and Sienna will be coming into season any time soon their first ones were 10 & 11 months and they are 19 months now, so he will still be a baby fingers crossed, Spry's just had hers a couple of months ago so hopefully it will be a while yet for her, what do you do Jax? and anyone else who has mixed sexes any advice would be gratefully recieved

I was wondering what you would do about that problem Lesley - but seems you have it well sorted. (Nothing like planning for the future ;) )

I have thought about it a lot Janis, and it is a bit of a worry but so many other people seem to cope with boys and girls, and I was thinking you have boys so maybe he could come stay with Oscar and Kobi if it gets too much for him, it's only 3 times a year after all (w00t) :- "

Oooo now wouldnt that be really good.

i just love this picture.those little pink paws!

So glad Kane has settled in so well Lesley, he is such a cutie

Can you imagine Kane and Bella puppies in a few years  :- " :- "

Julie

I don't have anyone to send my boys to and I can't usually afford to put them into kennels so I just have to deal with a week of screaming, crying and not eating/sleeping from Otto. It is a very stressful time for me but the beauty of it is I know that it will all be over in a couple of days. He is 'wise' to their seasons and doesn't start to carry on (or even pay much attention to the bitch) until she is in the hot spot of her season and then he is almost unbearable. Then as soon as she goes off the hot spot he stops his nonsense and I can put them together again. The bitch gets crated while she is in this phase and recently Layla came to work with me every day and slept the day away in her trolley and got walked in my breaks , so that was pretty convenient. Cash was pretty well behaved - although keen - and I just had to watch Otto with him for a couple of days while he was frantic. Dino stayed outside in the kennel during the day and downstairs in a crate at night with his sister so he didn't really get a close whiff of Layla and remained fairly calm and ate well throughout.

so much for not being able to have a boy

knew some1 from here wouldnt b able to resist him

congrats he is lovely

Thanks for the nice words everyone, :huggles: so far he is as good as gold, lively when he's awake though (w00t) the girls aren't sure what to make of him really one minute they are following him about and playing with him the next they are running away from him if he moves  he got told off from Spry today he bit her on the nose and with teeth like needles she wasn't impressed, she has such a short memory how the girls suffered with her when she was a baby

She seems very grown up now with him around and although I've been paying her a lot of attention she is very whiny at the moment so I think she may be jealous

I'm sure they will get used to him in time, I hope so anyway

I wouldn't worry too much it Lesley. :) Albie was a bit put out for a couple of days when Logan arrived and sulked, but he's over it now. They've all accepted Logan as part of the family and it's so funny to see him queuing up with the big dogs to go outside!

This is Logan and Albie on Sunday with Oliver just out of the picture:

Awww Logan has grown already,

Went back to work today just do 2 hours at lunchtime, put him a crate with lovely cosy bedding and he sceamed like a banshee (w00t) (w00t) came back and he was still screaming like a banshee god it was heart wrenching :( daren't put him in with the girls yet  surely he won't have been doing that the whole time, will he :sweating:

He will need to get used to it as I have to work and there are times when you have to go out dog free, not sure what to do really any suggestions

No suggestions Lelsey - but it is aweful when you go out and they persist on howling. Im sure he will get better with age. :- " probably start chewing the furniture instead   did you leave the radio on - I usually do -low music :huggles: Hope theres some improvement soon.

Hes got the girls for company so he cant be lonely.

Are the girls in the same room or is he in on his own? If they're in with him he shouldn't be lonely. Perhaps he's just cross that they're allowed out when you're not there and he isn't! Im sure it won't be long until he gets use to it and persevering with the crate is better than chewed furniture. He's beautiful!

Ahhhhh- it runs in the family does it  - does he stick his little nose in the air and bellow like Esme?

The first night I left Emse in her cage on her own she screamed for 2 hours then stopped and slept through the night. Last night she screamed for 1/2 hour then slept happily for 7 1/2 hours.

I think you just have to steel yourself to it, heartbreaking though it is :( , and they get over it.

Good luck :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

He is just soooooo

Thanks Janis and Jok they are all in a crate but the girls sleep together, I went up to school about 20 minutes and when I came back I opened the door really quietly and no howling, so maybe he is slowly getting to grips with it, i will have to persevere otherwise I will be housebound

It's just hard at first being strong isn't it when they are screaming their heads off, I nearly rang in sick but then thought I can't do that everyday
