I have just received my new collars from Kirislin and I am sooooo impressed. I had seen these collars in the flesh on Wendy's girls. The natural colour of kangeroo hide is a lovely shade of brown, but I really wanted black.

So, much to Wendy's disgust, Kirislin traipsed miles to find a suitable dye, and the results are stunning. The collars are so soft, it's amazing.

Apologies for Jake's lack of cooperation in the photos, but he was not impressed that I had the camera out again  Ollie on the other hand was more than happy to model for me (w00t)

Thank you so much Linda, you are very talented (and also very patient and customer focussed (w00t) )

Wendy, if you see this, I think you'll agree that the colour is scrumptious  unfortunately my camera doesn't do it justice.

I really fancy her show leads. They look lovely such a talent.

Yes I have to grudginly admit the colour looks good. I gave Tracy a gentle telling off, & said putting dye on the natural colour was like slapping house paint on a mahogany sideboard but it does look pretty spiffy.

Very handsome boys you have there too Tracy.

(w00t) I'd forgotten that quote Linda (w00t)

Well I think that they look gorgeous, and you never know, one of these days I may be tempted to order the natural hide :- "

Thanks so much for everything Linda

Lovley pictures of the dogs and they do look nice in their new collars.

Those collars are great

Do you have a website Linda ?

Yes! Stunning collars, modelled by stunning lads!

& is there a website? I, too, would like to look!

Thankyou for all the lovely comments everyone, I really do appreciate it. :) Unfortunately I dont have a website. I dont really think I could justify it. I only make a couple of styles of collars. I make show slips & ordinary plaited leads & I draw but I still feel it would be a rather empty looking web site compared to what everyone else would have. I also have this little concern that maybe I couldn't keep up demand if I advertised. I do all the work myself & they take alot of time.

If anyone is interested in a collar I can send you some leather samples of the hides I am working with at the moment. Just PM me. Try to track down Wendy or Tracy at Crufts if you want to see a collar in the 'flesh'. Actually there's a few K9ers who've bought them, I expect you'll start seeing them around a bit now. Once again thankyou.

I posted it this morning Claire, I hope you are happy with it. It usually takes about a week to arrive.

Very good! Have a little practice with it at home Claire to let you & your whippets get the feel of it, & to soften it up a bit. A friend of mine put one on his good whippet for the first time in the show ring. The dog didn't like it & didn't do well. He's fine with it now but he had to get used to it. I hope it helps you to lots of wins!

looks like these collars just slip over the head, is that right ? are they padded ? they look lovely but :( I'd be a bit nervous to walk Ella on one if it can slip off, what are they like on can you tell me they're safe for paranoid pet walkers ?!! :- "
