Just hope they get voted out then it would be the same for everyone and it would stop a lot of injurys

Why would it consern you ...you dont race do you ?

It would have to be done through proposals and its not a proposal year

Sorry to but in :D

but if you say that most of the injuries come from kick boards then you don't know alot about a racing dog do you,

if kick boards were that bad, people wouldn't use them full stop i know a lot of non-peders that wouldn't risk injuring their dogs, so if it were the case surely they wouldn't be used,

you all people know injuries can happen at any time or have you forgot about fly and dolly cos i sure haven't and they happened without the use of kick boards

Well said debbie

think folks should luck at the finish, thats where 90% of the injurys are done. when the lure stops (w00t)

spoke before about the lure going under artificial grass.

but folks seem reluctant to try and improve going into the lure?????????????????

Can't believe there are 11 pages of discussion about using kickboards when there is no chance of proposals this year anyway! lol

What will be next.................we'll have rules about people using more aero dynamic jackets than others and ABS vet wrap to help with possible skidding probs at the finish line :D And......................what about vaseline eh??????

I love carrying roxys launch pad across soggy mud at a bend track and making yet another kickboard for the straights because I left the last one behind or someone nicked it

You can't standardise whippet racing because they're all different and so are their owners. Personally I believe myself to be in the 26lb weight class...............sleek and as fast as a dead dormouse (w00t) o:)

some peaple like them some dont lets leave it at that. hope everyone has a injury free year nrxt year.

Have to say he looks the part but what worries is me is he has no booster boots on for setting off or finish ;)

The only time kickboards will be done away with is when the first person finds something better that was how they came about from wooden slats to kickboards---

so come on lets see some new inventions being tried and good luck to who ever produces the next big thing in trapping---

spring boards? more grip? starting blocks that can be used for front legs?

good luck

steve

ps can tell nights are drawing in when threads get longer
