a friend mentioned to me at racing yesterday that some good friends of hers are looking for a companion to their lurcher,the dogs ware never been left alone and they even take holidays with them :wub: :huggles:

1st class pet home offerd to a dog or bitch, under 4, must be good with other dogs :thumbsup:

they are in the new market area, and are a mature couple :b so if anyone thinks they can help please let me know and i can pass on details :thumbsup:

Try lurcher rescue or dogs homes there are plenty waiting for a home like this.
 
thanks for you replies and PM's so far :thumbsup: , they dont feel they can take on a pup so are looking for something around a year old, and not a greyhound,

a large whippet or non ped, or lurcher :huggles:
 
Visited the dogs at Wood Green at Godmanchester today :wub:

They are one of my customers so I have to visit regularly, and always visit the kennels while I am there- hard job innit?! :- "

They have a lovely big lurcher boy- Russell :wub: - looks to be Greyhound x Saluki to me, and one I really fell in love with- Lucy :huggles: , who is a bright red and white slightly rough coated young bitch, who looks possibly Whippet/greyhound/collie and has the most beautiful eyes and helicopter tail! :wub:

They have a few other really nice lurchers as well.
