Does anyone know where I can get a leather type halti? If I google this I keep getting horse sites or the ordinary halti's? Thanks

I tried haltis and gentle leaders for my 2. They didn't take to the haltis at all so I gave up on them straight away - also they didn't seem to fit right. The gentle leader was a winner for a while but then for some reason Lenny decided that he absolutely hated it and wouldn't go out in it anymore! So I gave up and didn't try any others but I'd be interested on peoples thoughts on the other brands - namely the dogmatic which I linked to earlier, and the gencon? I think I'd like to give head collars another go but with some being so expensive I don't know which to fork out for.I know this is changing the subject of the topic on the thread....but Id really like peoples thoughts on the Haltis please?Im thinking of getting a couple for Oscar and Archie mainly as they can be pullers...thanks everyone.
I'm not keen on haltis, I've found they can ride upwards into the dogs' eyes. Dogs can also back out of them fairly easily - I've heard some horror stories of dogs getting loose wearing them, so if you do use one make sure you either use a double-ended lead with one end on the halti and the other on a collar or harness, or use the extra strap you can buy which attaches the halti to the dog's collar.
I preferred the Gentle Leader, but to be honest didn't use it much as I got it for Taz when he first came and was a nightmare on the lead but he improved pretty quickly so we went back to a flat collar. I've heard very good reports of the Dogmatic but haven't used one so would be interested in ayone else's experience with it.
