This is Linnet, Im fostering her in South Cheshire for Lizzies Barn Animal Sanctuary. Her mum was a deerhound lurcher however it is thought that Dad was a whippet. She is very whippet pup in size and has tiny paws, so is not expected to be any bigger than a whippet.
Having a cuddle.
Boo!
See puppies can be still sometimes have you got a Linnet sized space on your sofa?
As at 17/12/10, Linnet is 12 weeks old, is fully vaccinated and is looking for a home of her own. She is doing well with her housetraining and her new forever family would have to continue to help her with that.
She is very friendly, but a little shy with new people, although her curiosity soon overides her nerves and she is wanting to curl up on your lap and give you kisses.
Linnet is very affectionate with people she knows, she loves to snuggle up next to you and have her belly rubbed. If you want a dog that just loves to be with people Linnet is your girl. She likes to play with a tennis ball and carry teddies around.
She could live as an only dog or with other dogs. As of yet she has not met a cat, however she is young enough to learn. Linnet would need someone around a lot of the time, as being a puppy she needs at least four meals a day, plenty of opportunities to go to the toilet and for play and training. Chewing is something that all pups do, so any prospective owners would have to ensure that they were prepared for that and give her something she was allowed to chew on. Linnet is currently living in a family with two children and loves to play with them.
Linnet sleeps well in a crate at night, although does like to snooze on the sofa or your lap.
Linnet has not had very much experience of leads yet, but she is very quick to learn.
She travels well in the car, and has not been destructive.
All potential adopters will be homevetted and be expected to travel to Nantwich, South Cheshire to meet/adopt Linnet.
If you are interested in Linnet please send your enquiries, telling us all about yourselves and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com & we will send you our rehoming questionnaire.
Can anyone bring her what she has asked Santa for? A new home for just after christmas??
