(w00t) Theres loads!!! Frogs have made me jump a few times in our garden, they just jump out of nowhere!! (w00t)

Cute little frogs.  The one at the bottom of the first pic looks like a toad. I only find slugs under our wheelie bins. :(

awww they are brilliant....You are providing some good cover for them under there obviously...

is there a pond nearby???

weve got hundreds of the beggars here at the moment.cant walk down to the bottom of the garden without nearly stepping on them! (w00t)

Wow thats a lot (w00t) I was moving one of my planters the other day and a huge one leapt out from under it, I nearly jumped out of my skin (w00t)

Tia came across her 1st frog yesterday, every time the frog jumped so did Tia (w00t)

Lot of frogs suppose to indicate relatively healthy, unpoluted environment. Because frogs suppose to be very sensitive to chemicals. But then again it may be all that rain you have had recently. :)

We used to have frogs here when we first bought this house. I even made some shallow spawning ponds for them, but have not seen one for years. :(

We've got a pond but it must be about 300 yards away and theres a burn quite close too. Started finding tiny wee frogs in our front hedge a couple of years ago but these frogs and toads seem to have adopted our wheely bin and the ivy behind it as home. :) We get them in the front garden too but not so many!

Blue was the same when he came across one the other night - he didn't know whether to chase it or jump in the opposite direction! Happily, he went for the opposite direction as I didn't really want to try to wrestle a frog off him!
