Hi there, we have recently lost our Greyhound due to old age and are looking for a whippet to join the family, im not bothered about what breeding and im wanting one as a pet only not for breeding or racing.

any age considered, does not have to be a pup, (our greyhound was an ex racer from greyhound rescue)

if you have or know of one needing a loving home for life please let me know, i can collect around lancahire area and can keep in contact with owner to let you know how its doing if wanted.

oopppss.... just thought im a newbe and should tell you all some things about myself and my family which may help anyone trying to rehome there dog.

my name is mary and i live in Blackpool, lancashire.i live with my partner Rob and my 2 daughters Chloe and Courtney, i have a 3 bed house with a 70ft rear garden(so plenty of room), it is fully fenced no no chance of escape.

We currently have no other pets due to the loss of our greyhound, so have lots of love and time to offer a new dog, my partner works full time however im a stay at home mum so there is always someone home all day,so a dog who doesnt like to be left isnt a problem.living in blackpool also means plenty of good walks on the beach too.
