I just used the Advocate for the 1st time yesterday. What a mucky mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The oily liquid is supposed to be applied to the skin. My whippies have such dense fur that skin is hard to find. Being over 10 kg, they get the larger dose. A lot of liquid. It takes several hours to dry and in the meantime, you have to be really careful that you do not get it on your own skin. Perhaps I will get better at applying it in time. if it keeps them safe and well then I suppose it is worth the trouble and mess. if your whippies are not communal groomers, it is probably best applied a couple of hours before bedtime so that it can dry in overnight.
