but Jade wont be there she's on camp with army cadets

I'm such an idiot! Totally messed up my diary for this weekend and so will be at Broadlands for the racing Saturday, then leaping into the car for a mad dash back to Oxford to watch my greyhound Broadacres Blue compete in a trophy race at Oxford. Totally forgot that we are booked into the exec boxes to support my trainer who has organised a night out for everyone connected with the kennels. We are even sponsoring one of the races, how could I forget that? What a numpty! :D I was looking forward to making a weekend of it again but sadly that will have to wait until Tatton.

See you all Saturday.

Vicky

Excuse my ignorance but how is that timed as on saturday night it was brought up that we should have a go over here too.

Did the Slip Pups all Straight race and how did they do as now theyre Adults ? Love to see them do well against the big guns !

unders winner was......? no point asking who won the overs...

thanks john, i must say it was a lovely day, bit hot nearly melted in the ring, it was great to meet up with very old dear friends that i haven't seen in years and new ones,

the lurcherworld crew are smashing and thanks for asking me to judge,

the only thing i would say is that after years of being in lurchers both showing and racing i couldn't understand the small numbers that actually attended, i have never seen so little amount of terriers, not that there was not good quality dogs because there was, in the final line up i chose 4 well defined and emaculate on another day the result could of been different, but i had to have 2 which i felt were the better dogs on the day, there was a few dogs that never came into the ring at all which i am quite miffed about

we didt bring our dogs in as we only race them now cant be doing with the prancing around the ring looking a complete

t**t tring to get the dog to stand and it wont. plus we did know you :D

Firstly this is not to offend i speak the way i walk thats just me

i can understand that if you want only to race fair enough

As for the knowing me bit, after getting to know me a bit more, you wiil understand i do not judge whoever is at the top of the lead i am there to give for what its worth my opinion on the dog, i personnally think that i gave everyone their moneys worth in regard of giving everybodys dog a good going over, i was was asked to judge this show by someone who has known me a very long time, at this paticular show i knew 3 quarters of the people there for years, and have seen most of the dogs from puppy's right upto adulthood and longer some of them still can't stand their dog, but they go to the shows to support them, of which i am the same, it think to keep these shows going( and they are on the decline, as i can remember a hell of a lot more than there is today)they need support, i was offered my expenses on which i declined as i feel the money could go back into the club whether is to buy rossettes or trophy's or anything else, i hade a brilliant day meeting very old friends and sparring partners of years back aswell as new ones, when i do decide to get back into it i will go to as many as i can just to support them whether i know the judge on the day as at the end of the day everybody feels that they take the best dog home whatever the judges opinion

i just hope that everybody was happy with what i did, as a result i have been offered more judging appointments by other lurcher show organisers, which i really think is nice

on that note i wish everyone well in everything they do do i have just given my honest thoughts
