Just heard from Liz :) - Mabel has had four gorgeous pale brindle boys and a beautiful fawn girl with white feet!

Poor Mabel had a bit of a rough time, and is back at the vet as there is one pup still inside, and the vets are trying to get her going with Oxytocin, so we'll have to wait and see about that one. :luck:

But all the others are fat and healthy and have had a really good feed before Liz had to take Mabel back to the vet. Pictures to follow when Liz is able - I think she is as shattered as Mabel!! :sweating:

 Congratulations Mabelline! :huggles:

Congratulations to Mabel and her puppies, hope everything is ok with the last one :luck:

Just had to come on here to keep myself occupied- had to leave Mabel at the vet's as the oxytocin didn't work :(

They are going to put her on a calcium drip to see if that gets things going as she is so exhausted. If that doesn't work then there is no other choice than a caesarian for what is probably a dead puppy :(

The main problem last night was that the puppies are just sooo big ( the 4 boys are anyway- the girl is petite in comparison o:) ) and she was stuffed so full that she just couldn't get a good enough push

Two of the boys are just short of 1 lb!! :o The other two are about 13 oz and the bitch is about 11 oz so all a very good size and very strong

Just got to wait to hear from the vets so hope little Mabel is ok :luck:
