I have asked this question on another thread, but then lost it so don't know if anyone answered (sorry if you did) but,

does wearing a collar affect a microchip?

I was at the Ideal home exhibition in march and saw them there, I asked the woman - who was selling dog and cat collars - if they affected microchipped animal, she looked at me as if I was a total nut case! I tried to expand a bit, you know, magnetic energy, microchip information, but still just a strange look!

I haven't heard any scare stories or anything, just seemed a possibility - or am I mad

Before Sid I had a beautiful IG who came to me aged 4 with a broken leg and therefore arthritis. A friend of mine made the copper chains for horses and made me a small one for our IG. It seems crazy and I don't know how, but it worked!! We had her for 9 years and her "copper necklace" was on her 24/7 and she never needed any drugs for the arthritis.

My friend expanded their business and has even made them for animals at London Zoo.

Good Luck :luck: - when you are a millionairre will you still talk to all of us common people on K9 :D :D

Could you post it please :huggles: ...... he's in a bad way at the mo :(

Doris .......Magnet's can affect microchip's but I have a porta mag magnetic box and all of my lot's microchip's are still ok

No probs Hannah I'll post it tomorrow.

Kisses to the Twit from us.

When I'm a millionaire??????? :D

No chance at all with these costly dogs of mine (w00t) /

Since the thread is bumped I might as well take the opportunity to blabber away for the benefit of those of you not converts already.........here is some speil o:) :b

Magnets are proven to reduce pain - an independant study has confirmed this. (Arthritis research 2004 - published in the British Medical Journal. This was the first peer reviewed trial of it's kind.)

The key seems to be high strength magnets - Bioflow are very strong - much more so than you would get off the shelf in Department stores / chemists for example.

Magnets are also safe to use.

Bioflow are happy to refund 85% of the price if after 90 days you are not satisfied with the product. (You wouldnt be able to get a refund from a store!)

There are loads of products, from dog collars, bracelets, pads that can be used in a dog bed or in the car, horse boots, gadgets to reduce the potential damage caused by mobile phones etc. If anyone wants any more info please PM me

Speil over. :b :D

I've got a really bad tooth abcess at the mo, am on antibiotics but in a lot of pain. Would bioflow help with that sort of pain Rae.

Riley

Poor you :(

It might not help with the abscess - but it should certainly help with the pain. The magnets are also thought to aid quicker healing.

I've got a load of 'case histories' and there are 2 for people with teeth problems (one toothache and once abscess) and it seems as though the magnet worn close to the face area was very effective. There is an expensive item (£75) called a boost which is 3 sets of magents and belts that you can wear anywhere - or there is a pendant. You could hold a bracelet to your face or I dont see why you couldn't wear the dog collar  And then give it to the dog afterwards

If you want a brochure PM me your address :)

Just bumping this up as it has helped my research into getting one of these for my first aid kit

Would be really interested to hear other's experiences as well please :- "

Thanks

Thanks for this, and glad your dogs are doing well. Has the Twit worn his collar continually ever since?
