Day Two, still tentatively making friends...

Still Day Two... Josie rubbing her neck on Lola. She does this a lot, and they dance about doing it, as if it's a complicated "mating" ritual  Does anyone else's whippet-pair do this?

Day Four (this morning) more neck rubbing... and they did this for about twenty minutes on our bed when they first saw each other this morning

Hi Helen,

well done for getting Josie a companion.

Think theres going to be a lot of K9ers with a single dog, pulling at the heart strings and being very friendly with their OHs, for a second dog!!! Jo has it spot on, when the play can get abit out of hand its lovable mayhem. We witness the wall of death theme on a very regular basis. Is just fantastic to see happy dogs playing and enjoying each others company.

Awww Helen, they are adorable together    , Im so pleased for you that they are getting on, Ive never seen the neck rubing thing before !!! :teehee:

So glad all is well......You are very lucky, I think it's a girl thing!

My boys sort are buddies, we have had two nasty I MEAN IT scraps, but I think they are sort of loast without each other........in a manly non-gay sort of way

Can't wait to meet little Lola on Monday, I want cuddles Chardonnay and olives at Berkeley

Hi Helen

Ellie and Bertie are also doing the neck and head rubbing thing.

Hasn't it been great watching the relationships develop. Ellie even let Bertie climb on her back yesterday, but I couldn't get to the camera fast enough. She has now stopped barking in his ear and just pins him to the floor when he gets to much for her.
