Well it saddens my heart putting this up it really does, thing is, even though i have spread the word of mating my dog whom you all know i adore, ive decided due to lack of interest in fact no interest at all for her pups from this or any other forum , but to forget the mating, im not the kind of bloke to breed from her just for the sake of having a litter, not likely, shes due in season anytime now, its ok for certain folks to say people will be banging on my door for pups, not good enough im afraid, i no of one guy whos had a litter which were spoken for afore the mating, ahhh well such is life, brought tears to my feckin eyes writing this

keith

oh keith im so sorry hun, you know if i was allowed another one, i would be banging on your door, but im not :(

Oh Keith I am suprised you have not had any interest :( wot a shame :huggles:

Poor Keith -You've sounded so excited bout the whole mating thing. I wish I could have another pup ut as Murphy is still young I know that now is not the right time, but maybe next year...

So sorry to hear that and surprised. Such a shame when you have such a smashing whippet that you wish to have pups from :( Maybe you will get a more positive response next year :) not that this will make it easier for you at this moment in time.

sorry to hear your news keith :( think your been very responsible about it

so sorry to here that keith :( being as responsible as you are youve made the right choice jill is gorgeous and very lucky to have such a responsible daddy i kinda feel guilty for encouraging you and getting your hopes up SORRY! :huggles: :huggles:

Dont be silly  responsible daddy  whooooss the daddy, encourage me all you like my friend, at the end of the day i make my own mind up

thanks keith

you will be more than welcome to get your puppy fix when i breed my little girl if i could have another i would have one of your jills babies shes lovely goodluck with whatever you decide :huggles:

you've made the hard but right choice keith, it would be awful to have lots of pups left wanting a home, and these Veredon whippets do seem to have large litters, good luck next time round :luck:

I am sorry as I know how much you wanted Jill's babies.

She looks a super girl and there is still time if you change your mind. To mate now or in the near future means christmas pups and Its a dangerous time for babies as no matter how careful you are finding the right homes its present time and maybe impulse buys occur.

:luck: with whatever you decide in the future.

It may just be that it's early days Keith I know we would all like homes to be lined up, but I know myself I've not bought a pup yet before it was born, With Callie and Sienna I just wanted a whippet but didnt have K9 then so got them from dawn letting me know but with Spry and kane I saw,I fell in love, I collected :huggles:

I knew I always wanted more but sometimes to see the babies is the confirmation people need

Whats the worst that can happen...........................you'd have to keep them ALL      bliss o:)

Things might be different next season, there have been a lot of new pups recentley, so all the new owners have probably been taken :(

I'm sorry Keith ..........You have made a hard but very responsible decision though  .......

sensible decision. too many folk are breeding too many pups and its hard to find kind loving homes for them all.lots of people will say oh ill have a pup if youre going to breed, giving little thought to what theyre saying.if then you go ahead and breed and think youve got homes for them all youd be in for a shock.its hard enough for well established breeders to home good quality pups and i dont mean cos theres no homes out there its cos theres so few GOOD homes out there. ;) personally (and ill probably get slated for this ) but i think that breeding a litter just cos you want to isnt a good enough reason.

Oh Im sorry to hear this I would have loved one of your pups but I already have four whips :))

Maybe you could try again next year there may be more interest if people have more time?

Breed a litter just cos you want to, not me im afraid, and i know you arent aiming that reply at me, first and foremost with me is, homes, good homes, ive worked long and hard converting a whelping quarter for jill, only to have my dream dashed, having said that, 2 people now want a puppy from me with a possible 3rd, should i decide to go ahead with the mating, and have pups left on my hands, i have the facilities to kennel them on, ive had offers of free dew claw removal from a guy in the know, use of a heat lamp, whelping box, so what am i waiting for

 good on you keith cant wait to see sum sexy little mammas running around the place :huggles:

Now then folks, im very pleased to say, that after a good chat with viv coulter from collooney kennels, and Russ sykes@veredon, the mating of my dog jill will commence on her next season, 3 pups, possibly 4 are spoken for, lots of good advice from Viv, she opened my eyes i can tell you, also Russ, good sound advice from him also, whilst im here, id also like to thank Mally, the help and advice im receiving from him has really touched me, everything ready here for jill, no lengths i wont go to to ensure she and her pups get the best, and they will
