Max is back off to the vet's again. After doing so well with his leg and walking, it now seems a screw may have worked loose. If it has then it will have to be removed. The vets are hoping the other 5 screws will still hold the plate in place. I don't know anymore than that at the mo, but there is not enough bone growth yet for the plate to be removed.

Hope all will be well, doesn't sound very nice, poor Max. :luck:

Well, we've been, and the vet is now talking to the specialist. They are bringing his xray date forward and are probably going to take that screw out. It is working through the skin and if you look closely you can actually see the metal. I don't know if they will put in a new screw or just leave him with five screws. Anyway he is back on pankillers for a bit while it is all sorted out.

Oh no! Poor Max, after he was doing so marvellously. Is there to be no end to all this suffering for him? Poor little lamb. Hope all goes well now. All the best from me and Breeze.

oh max!!!! what is he like!!!! give him hugs from us lot and i hope he is much better soon xx

Oh Max you were doing so well too. I hope they can sort your loose screw out and you'll will soon be back on the road to recovery

Your looky likey William also has a screw loose unfortunately as his is in his head there's not a lot can be done about it (w00t)
