Jess came to me as a foster on behalf of Greyhound Gap yesterday. She's had a hard time recently, her owner died and she was left alone in the house for a while with someone just going in to feed her. She was in quite a poor state when she came into GAP's care - very thin, teeth in a terrible state and a couple of mammary lumps which needed to be removed asap.
Despite all that I can honestly say I've never known such a sweet, easy dog. She loves people, is brilliant with my other dogs, is clean in the house, walks like a dream on the lead, settled overnight with absolutely no fuss.... I could go on!
She is supposedly a whippet, but at 21" I'd guess there is a bit of something else in there.
Some not very good pictures, I'll have to try to get some better ones later:
Jess and Sophie - you can see how thin she is
She takes up hardly any room at all
In the background with Taz and Sophie - I just missed a lovely picture of the all curled up on the same bed
