Phoebe is a 2 and a half year old Whimpet type doglet.

She is non pedigree and extremely proud of of it - actually she is very proud of everything about herself I think :- " She certainly knows that she is extremely pretty - even for a Whimpet, because everyone keeps telling her she is :D

Phoebe likes to help about the house - in fact she insists on being involved in everything - this is her helping with the washing.......... unfortunately we tend to go through a lot of pegs this way

As you can see - she is very small - which is why we probably won't let her have pups :(

I have had dogs all of my life but until now, they have always been terriers - The only thing I can say is, I shall never go back; Whippets are the most fantastic dogs, I think Phoebe is just wonderful

Phoebe is lovely and you seem to be as enamoured with the breed as I am!

As for you worrying that the pics aren't in the right place, I can only get one per post!!!

My dogs aren't allowed on the furniture :- "

(w00t) Oh wow she is just lovely!!!!!!!

Great photos... aw, helping with the washing!

I love that face with the half and half colouring - reminds me of Lesley's lovely Spry

Phoebe adores playing with other dogs (she doesn't like barking ones overmuch though) - here she is playing a game with two of her friends. The game is called:

Let's wind up the Wolfhounds :sweating: and consists of Phoebe showing off her acceleration and turning skills. The only problem is with this game is that human observers are in grave danger of being flattened by out of control Wolfhounds (w00t)

But whilst it looks crazy - they are all great pals in the end.

ps I'm sorry to be dim (I'm only learning still), but could you tell me why being small means she won't have puppies? :b

Er - well I am sorry to be equally as dim, only it is what I have been told by SWMBO :- "

It goes along the lines of -

"Oh my gosh if she has pups, what if anything should happen to her? and she is soooo small"

and one can see the point - we would both be devastated if anything happened to the Phoeblet !

Ah - well there you have it.... unfortunately I am not at home at present, in fact I am not in the UK at present and won't be for another 3 weeks :(

I think she is around 10.5 kilos ...... but don't quote me on that! As far as height is concerned well that will have to wait until I get home, but she looks small next to any other whippets we meet.
