I'll give you a call Andy, I was unaware that Lesley was so insulted until I got various emails about complaints. I was merely stating the facts as I saw them! :blink:

Those are the relevent parts to me Scott at no point throughout the conversation did I insult you or your dogs, the full conversation is in the relevant hands

Firstly chat is NOT public its private. No one else can read it except those in chat. If you don' t like whats being said in chat then leave or don't go in. Lesley has brought this into the public domain and so has only herself to blame for it being made public.

I have read this thread and I am very dissapointed.Lesley you complained to me about Scott and asked me to speak to Dennis our chairman asking for disaplinary action to be taken. Now I come on here and find that it is now being broadcast across the net.....Let's face it all you all want is to split up the Northern whippets so that members come along to the Lancashire... Go to the Lancashire by all means but please stop this silly bickering.We will have our club and you lot can have yours. Scott is our Racing manager and in my humble opinion he is a very good racing manager. Mark Roberts will tell you himself that organising racing and trialling is not a picnic. Sometimes we haven't got the dogs there to help with trialling of new dogs this is just something we all live with. Bare something in mind if I'm supposed to put your point of view across to the committee I will now have to bring up the fact that you and your husband have used K9 as a tool to bring our club into disrepute by airing your dirty linen on line. If you wish to take any matters further in future I suggest you put them in writing address them to me and do not use K9 to abuse members of The Northern PWRC. THANK YOU.

I agree too.

Clubs need people to go racing or they fold. Why would anyone want to go racing after reading all of this (and other threads). Not good publicity for the hobby is it.

Scott and my self were not alone in the chat forum there were several other member in there,also I was in there chatting to otheres first why would I leave the reason I have brought this into the public domain is to explain the facts as Scott sees them.

Ok Sue the argument isn't really with you is it but as you came in:

 

1. The reason I wrote to you is because he is the Racing manager of your club and as such should act in a professional manner to your members and follow club rules.

 

2.He is the one who insulted me so if anyone is bringing the club into disrepute it is not me( and I have not been the only target of abuse ) the fact that it is on here bears no relevance if you would like to put that to the commitee so be it, obviously a meeting would serve no purpose to me anyway as my family and dogs are outsiders and always have been even on the day, not open class dogs.

 

3. I understand that organising the racing is not a picnic that is why where ever possible my husband helped out and I actually brought people with me to have enough dogs to clear mine and still I stood for 2 hours in the background, you were very rarely there so I feel it is wrong for you to comment

 

4, I have no need or desire to split the Northern up it bears no relevance on my future plans.

This is about one persons attitude Barbara not about racing as a whole my husband was supporting me after I had been insulted by a member, a member who does this regularly to members with no repercussion there has been plenty nastiness from people in racing long before I arrived to put people off
