Its the Midland Game Fair this weekend. We hope some of you will come and say hello to us at the Manor Lurcher Club tent.

Hi.

I'm coming to the show on Saturday. (looking forward).. .. ..

I have been on a few web sites, inc Countrymans Fair.

-BUT-

I cannot find any schedule of events / time of lurcher show / racing.

Does anyone know of any times, or can point me in the right direction for a better web site to look at ?

lyn will confirm this im sure....showing starts around 11am with the grand final "champion of champions" to follow. the straight racing after that . id like full confirmation too :wacko:

one thing i must say..get there as early as you can !!! were there from 8am to get ringside parking ;)
 
Please accept my apologies for not announcing a full list of events. I did not realise that Countrymans Fairs had not updated their website recently, to include this. Full list of events in another post.

my boys and I will be at the fair on sat and will come over to race and course and say a big hello - just keep your eye out for a little old lady being dragged to the racing by two LARGE lurchers - it 'll be me!!!!l :b
 
I'm going with my Aunt and am sooo excited! Been living in Stafford since i was little and the closest i get to lurchers is the county show!

Where abouts is the lurcher part going to be????????? I cannot wait to meet more lurchers...

Only thing is we can only get tickets at the gate now...We will have to get there early to grab a couple!

Edited to say just seen the events post... We are going on sunday... Are there still going to be a good deal of lurchers and their owners there?

Saturday is traditionally lurcher day, however, there is usually a good turnout of lurchers on Sunday. We will be having straight racing for lurchers on Sunday morning. Hope to see you there.

The caravan is packed, kids getting ready for school, Im going to work soon then we are off this afternoon. See you tomorrow.

Its a well wisher (aka back seat driver) recently relocated to oz. Come back all is forgiven, my dear. Im supposed to be getting ready for work, bye again.
