For those who haven't seen Wendy's posts about Tony and basically an appeal to anyone out tonight walking their dogs.

Please be on the look out for Tony Duttka (photo below)

Tony was last seen at his home in Bury on Wednesday where he went out in his car and hasn't been since. He is a poorly controlled diabetic and he has left the house without any medication.

The police are aware and have put a search out for him but there's a reasonable chance he has gone somewhere more rural in his vehicle so they may not find him.

The vehicle is a silver Toyota Hiace registration K731 YRN. It is distinct in that it has running dog decals along the side of it.

If you see this vehicle in a layby or country road etc please contact the police immediately. As his lack of medication could effect his reasonable behaviour, I'd recommend that you contact the police as your first priority incase he scares and flees.

Please, cross post this anywhere you feel appropiate, e.g. lurcher forums, dog forums etc as time is of the element here.

I posted this elsewhere too, but have the police considered asking Mountain Rescue for help? They will help search if a missing vulnerable person can't be found, especially in rural areas, but they have helped with search work in towns too. I'm sure Bury will have a local team.
