Hiya,

I have been wanting a friend for our now 19 month old whippet and my OH has been umming and amming about it for some time.... we have come one step closer today whilst talking but OH would love an Italian greyhound as a friend for our whippet Sidney....

Has anyone got a mix of dogs?

Do they get on?

Is the size an issue?

Are Italian Greys easy to train and look after?

Do you find the whippet boisterous towards the Italian grey?

TIA

here is a starter for you

also, if you look back over the pages of the iggie forum and you'll see this question comes up quite often :- "

but a quick answer is yes, they are often mixed in the same household and can get on very well, size can be an issue, it can be very, very difficult to get an iggie as an addition to your family and they can be very, very difficult to look after, house training especially challenging

:luck: with your decision

Not sure if it would be the Whippet being too boisterous :)
