I didn't see the post myself, but it was deleted because although off-topic general chat and discussion is fine, it was felt that your post wasn't within the ethos of the forum - we are primarily about dogs, and there are better platforms for venting one's feelings and personal opinions about unrelated events in the news.

Hi @lurcherman

I was the one that removed the post and as Judy mentions above, although we do have a general discussions section I found that lately this was becoming a place to vent (some comments quite aggressive) and it is taking focus away from the dog related conversations.
