I am a very proud mum today, my daughter, Annalese after really hard work has got her A level grades today. She now has her place at the Royal Vet College in London. How wonderful to have a vet in the family in the future - I reckon she should make whippets part of her special study now I have made my public announcement I feel fantastic - well done to a very talented young lady :huggles:

as a former vet, I'd give her the one piece of advice I wish people had given me when I started...

Find something you really, truly enjoy and become very, very good at it - but wait until you're in your final year before you decide (Biochemistry isn't all that exciting as a career choice)

and then do it better than anyone else. Generalism can come later. Specialism makes your heart sing. (well, it did mine)
