I lost my mum 15 months ago, six weeks before she died she came to stay with us, we had lost my dad 5 months earlier, and we took her to a show where Dylan was Best Puppy, she had a lovely time and talked about Dylan all the time, when we were sorting her things after she died I found a scrapbook she was making, she had put all the pictures of Dylan in I had sent her and his show reports from Dog World, I've kept it going, and like to think that everytime we go in the ring she is looking on and wishing us well. I miss my mum and dad so much.

awwww, jenny youve made me cry.thats a lovely story about your mum she must have been so proud of you :huggles:

I think we should look on every Mother's Day,like it could be the last.My mum is now 73,and my dad will be 80,on the 12 july this year.He doesn't keep well, and don't go out much now,as him and my mum were almost taken from us a few month's back,in a very bad car accident, which wrote off the car. He's just received his letter back from the driving licence people,as he had a load of medical's to go through, and eyesight test's.We would rather he didn't drive,as there are enough of us to take them where they want to go.But how do you tell them when it's time to rely on their family a bit more.As ive said, they shouldn't have survived that accident,as dad had to kick out a window to crawl through,so he could get to mum from the other side, and pull her out of the car, which was leaking fuel everywhere.Look after you're mum's,(and dad's),all you that still have them.Cherish every moment with them, cause in a blink of an eye they could be gone from this world.I for one, will be down the road tomorrow morning to give mine a big hug or two,as this Mother's Day could be her last. ...Billy...

This will be the first Mothers Day I have without my mum as she passed away in October, so I will take some flowers down to the garden of rememberance later. I really miss her.

I must say Mothers day hit me hard yesterday with losing my mum on December 10th 2007. I went up to the cemetery and put down some flowers and hoped she was now at peace after all the terrible suffering she went through before she passed away :(

On a brighter note I got three lovely bunches of flowers and a card and chocolates from my 17 year old son.

Hope all you other mum's had a great day :)
