I have always wondered this. Is multicoloured poop at all normal?
Rox sometimes does poops that have different colours in it, some dark swirled with very light kinda like marble cake lol. What does this mean?

Jasper does this sometimes - chicken can give a lighter colour than red meats/offal, and if he's had a stressful time he can do a poo that's part-pale (the bit that rushed through quickly) and part-normal (the bit it caught up with). Then there was the time he ate some putty and did pure white poo...

Dens been poorly recently and has been doing orange poos - he’s been on chicken and rice so I’m not sure if it’s this or some other reason.

We’ve had his poo sent off to be tested so hopefully we can discover why he’s been so poorly.

We get two coloured poo quiet often, one end dark and the other end light and as described sometimes swirled together where two different meals must have joined. I never think it is anything to be concerned about and just assume it is the to do with whatever they have eaten. The poos remain very firm and or knobbly.

I think its normal depending on what they have eten... Although for Georges birthday I bought some 100% natural doggy treats made with beet, spinach, carrot and apple... The next day poo was ...interesting to say the least!

Josie I hope you get some answers when Dens results come back:)

@Josie I hope Dennis is ok.
My 3 have had a nasty stomach bug it seems to be going around here, their poo was orange/yellow not very nice at all!

@Whippylove oh your poor 3 - are they ok now?

Maybe it’s doing the rounds in the UK at the moment. We’re waiting on results from his poo samples but hoping it’s just been a bad hug and because he’s older finding it harder to shift.

@Josie their getting better but its took a while especially for Marley, such a lot going about. Hopefully Dennis will get better soon nothing worse when they're feeling off , they are such a worry.

Oh good I’m glad they’ve gotten through it. Den has already been on a course of antibiotics and we thought he had got over it as poos back to normal and then suddenly it hit again so that’s why just want to double check with poo testing. Hopefully it’s just been a bad bug
