I'm going to let him cover my two mares then he is going to be gelded. Well thats the plan anyway :D

"My Boy, Arab stallion" phew thought you ment BOB (w00t)

hahahahaha......... nah, hes more like the trusty dobbin (w00t)

Nice boy

Are those the mares in your signature pics, Sarah? How are they bred?

I like to see bay Arabs - different from the greys and chestnuts which seem to dominate the show ring these days

thanks, i am a bit proud of him....

The grey mare is out of Ibn Esdasha and a coloured mare and the black mare is IDxTB, cant remember off hand what the ID side is but the stallion was a thoroughbred called Poetic Justice.

I just wish Qamar would deepen a bit in the ribs..... i guess there is time yet as he is only just turning 5 in May and arabs are late to mature.

:) Yes, give him more time.... some of the TBs don't develop any sort of front end until they get to around 6 or 7 (w00t)

I like the black mare and the grey is a pretty girlie :D

Poetic Justice was by High Top who was by Derring-Do! Derring-Do stood at stud in Yorkshire many, many years ago (Burton Agnes, Driffield) - picture on this link ....

I had a mare whose uncle was High Top so I guess she was a distant relative to your mare somewhere along the line

Thanks for this Jane, very interesting.

Do you have any photos of Poetic Justice as the only one i got is a wishy washy black and white one.

I like an Arab.

I put an Arab on my coloured mare and had a cracking coloured colt about 10 years ago and he went on to become a CHAPS graded stallion and a BSJA showjumper, "Patchwood Montana" standing at Woolaston stud
