and my daughter is learning to drive so we are keeping our little 10 year old Polo for her now instead of selling it for next to nothing.

Very nice Janis, hope you enjoy many days motoring in it!

looks fab!! was wanting a honda crv but no money just now!! Looks like loads of room there!!

Lovely Janis, :D happy motoring :huggles:

So you didn't opt for the Renault Kangoo then Janis:p Very stylish......

I feel on top of the world in my Kangoo, until I see one coming the opposite way...and then think, oh dear....is that what I look like driving a Kangoo :D ? I still love it. :huggles:

Good luck with yours

m still looking at cars for when I can find it in my heart (and pocket) to replace my wonderful Yaris Verso -it's like a little Tardis.

Can you tell me if the Kia has -(a) seats that fold flat into the floor (b) a flat floor - no lip on the back of boot © automatic option (d) air-con - please?

So far my short list is the Kangoo (though a bit big for my garage) and the Vauxhall Meriva (which has all of above).

I want to hang onto my Yaris Verso for a little while - having expensive work done on the house, so need to save a few more pennies - but it will ultimately need to be replaced with something just a bit bigger. Although I can load in 3 dogs (one in cage, 2 secured to floor fixings by their doggy seatbelts), my wheelchair and all luggage and dog-beds needs for a 2 week holiday, it is a bit of a squash!!! (w00t)

Your car looks super Janis, I got a new car a few weeks ago and it's great. I had an Astra Estate previously which I treasured for 10 years, now I have a Zafira and I love it. I don't know how many dogs it will hold because I only have two,but I'm sure it will fit a third cage very easitly.

Janet ......here is a picture of the boot...

I will ask hubby some of those questions..but I do know Yes to aircon....and Yes to automatic options because Ive seen them advertised.

I think it may be taller than the Renaut Kangoo but Ill check for you.

also heres a link to the information on new Kias, there is a picture gallery with different views of the vehicles. the one Im having is the sportage.

Thanks Janis

-looks well worth a closer examination. It isn't the height so much as length and width that might be a problem with my garage and as we are not allowed to have cars parked on the road, it has to fit!

I think there is a Kia dealer on an industrial estate in Ashford, where all the car dealerships seem to have premises, so i can probably see it there.

I like the way the back seats fold down to leave a flat floor -same as my verso -it makes loading the cage and dogs so much easier, especially as Lily and Twiggy are getting on a bit. Polly won't travel any other way than in her crate. My fault as I used it when she was a pup and now she won't go in any car without it. I have a soft one if we are going in anyone else's car, but she mumps and moans about it

Are the seats fairly high and easy to get in and out of? Another thing I have to watch, with my physical limitations.

Thanks for the photo and links - I'm sure you'll all be so happy in your new vehicle!!
