My Sweet Baby Has Broken Her Neck

 :D

...... here's some more hugs for you and Macey :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

I have just been watching the video clips of Sienna. What an inspiration. :)

I would never have believed that a dog with a broken neck that was paralysed could recover and run around.

It just shows what faith, a good vet and a lot of love can achieve.

I hope that Macey recovers just as well and ends up pain free and able to run and enjoy life again just like Sienna.

:luck:   :luck:  :)

im so pleased for you that you'l be bringing her home...its the best feeling :) :luck:

She was a bugger while we were on holiday when we opened the door of the caravan awning she kept running to other peoples caravans and we had to chase her, at one point she was pinching another dogs food from outside their caravan  o:) she is under the impression that she is a bit special and she can get away with it, don't know where she gets that idea :-

It wonderful news that Macey may be able to come home friday it sounds very positive, Linda knows it may be a long road and it can be hard work but so worth it and after all it is even harder for the dogs and they keep trying :luck: :luck: :luck:

fingers crossed for fri hun , good to see you getting so much support as you will need it , a long road but as lesley shows its all soooooooooooooooooo worth it , you have my number , 24/7 hun xxxxx

The support, advice and love that is coming Macey's way is unbelievable.

The vets asked did I know what I opening myself up for I said 'Yip!' I said I had a good support network but also a great bunch of knowledgeable and experienced friends (yes you Lesley!! lol) at the end of an optic cable!!!!

I know it will be hard, Macey will come home wth a front and back sling, requires to be rolled over every four hours and we will have to do physio on her. She is taking water from a syringe, not heard about her eating as the vet had not spoken to the nurse when I called or bowel movements. Hopefully being home will help her more to recover.

As soon as I have some pictures I will post them.

still sending healing thoughts and soooooo very pleased she is improving :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Just heard we can go and collect her at 11am tomorrow!!

She is fine, but has a wee bit of colitis, but this may be stress related.

We are going to be shown the physio and then it homeward bound!!!

They put her back on the drip but this may be due to her taking just the syringe. Hopefully once she is home she will improve......

Thank again

Linda xx
