You can find some interesting potato variety names on the British Potato Council Website (Which I did not even know existed until today - there is no end to what you might learn from K9!).

Rocket is a variety of potato - a very appropriate name for a whippet, don't you think? Great looking puppy - good luck with him!

Ohhh I have one ......Bomber as in .......Jacket ......ie Jacket potatoe, loose the potatoe bit so you are left with Jacket = Bomber Jacket, then shortened to Bomber :D ........Off for a lie down now   .......Pup looks lovely BTW :D

I know this is.nt along the potato line, but i think he looks like an Echo.

:D

not potato related but how about these?

Murray

Murphy

Kirby

Cooper

Harry

Toby

Gus

Casey

Floyd

Flynn

Jed

Roscoe

buntata - gaelic word for potato.

snaidh - gaelic word for chip (though generally meaning chip/stone).
