It is with sadness that we are announcing the retirement of Nch Rch North 2 South due to injury. Due to his recent poor performances on the bend track we have taken him to Robert Meek, an osteomyologist who specialises in greyhounds and whippets, and he has found that Jack has an injury to his shoulder which cannot be repaired. It would appear that Jack has been carrying this injury for a while and however long he is rested it will not improve. On the advice we have been given we have decided it is only fair on Jack that he retires so he does not cause himself any further injury or pain. We are obviously very upset at having to make this decision when Jack is only 4 & 1/2 years old but we have had alot of enjoyment racing him and could not have wished for a better dog. :(

Happy Retirement Jack

With all those wins to your name you have been an unforgettable dog not just to your owners but to all racers up and down the country.

Enjoy yourself - you've earned it :huggles:

Sad news but what a dog A 1 should throw some good pups.

all the best with having him as a pet a giving him all the love he needs. we will miss all the enjoyment we would of had racing with him on the track (may b magic) still have a laugh though all the best and good luck with the pup I hope it does not give too much grief to katheryn and paul also regards from boomerang. hope to see you around the track and at club.

sorry to hear that you have to retire such a great dog hope he enjoys his retirement !!!

I was so sorry to hear that Jack is to be retired, a dog worth going miles to see run, I was wondering if he was to changed his diet in retirement from Beer and fags to a more sedate way of life. Good luck to you and Jack and I hope Jack trains the new puppy to run the same as him, all the best  :luck:

:luck: good luck with him i am sure he will have the bitches knocking on his kennel door for stud duties :luck:

Paul, should we take the dogs out for a beer in a couple of weeks when we come up. I feel a thirst coming on.

Leave the girls at home. :- "

Also I have a bottle of whisky for Jack

Happy retirement Jack

What a dog he has been. I was going to get Jack, but had a pup at the time. I met Rab the day after the litter were born and thought it was on omen as they were born on my birthday. I have watched this dog win almost every weight class he went into , even as a puppy.

Top class dog,,all the best and hope to see a few of his pup's on the track,,I will watch them, just like I did with Jack.
